Great product
This is a great product. The case is hard plastic so it protects from scratches as well as giving some shock absorption if (when!) the DS is dropped. We have trouble keeping track of the game cartridges even though we have a DS Backpack and this provides great way to have their favorite games easily accessible and safe. The case goes on and off very easily (though we haven't had any problems with it falling off). All ports and plugs are accessible with the case on. I bought 2!
Nice case for the DS
I purchased this Mad Catz Nintendo DS case for my new DS lite to use while I found the "perfect" carrying case. Now I can just use this and put the DS right in my purse or pocket.
The case is well designed so you can have a few games handy at all times without carrying individual cases. My 10 yr old saw mine and had to get one for himself, too.
The clear case helps protect the DS from scratches, and goes on easily. The case does not interfere with the controls, ports or hinges. I have only had it a few weeks, but seems very durable so far!

I have had this case on my DS lite for well over 6 months and have had no problems. It fits the DS perfectly so my ds still looks brand new, no scuffs or scratches. The fact that 3 extra games fit snuggly and stay clean in the cover is a big bonus. I am not a teenager though so it probably doesn't see the same abuse, but I do carry it daily in my cluttered purse/bag, so it does see some. I have yet to drop it so I can't say how the polycarbonate would fare in a fall. But for a semi-responsible person, I think it's a pretty durable product. I personally am very satisfied.
