AWESOME CASE
I have purchased so many DS game holders but this one is the best you will ever find as it is sturdy for the games and holds over 50 games and so easy to travel with. I LOVE IT!!! You will not regret buying this.
Fine for storing games, but useless for travel
This case is very cute, it seems well made, and I like that it holds so many games, but it's far too big to actually carry around anyplace. First off, it's about the size of a lunch box (and at least as big as my Wii case, possibly slightly bigger), which sort of defeats the point of a portable game system. It barely leaves space in my backpack for my laptop, a book or two, and a few other miscellaneous items (iPod, pencil case, etc.), but carrying it separately is a problem for air travel were it would count as a carry on bag. Since the case definitely won't fit in a purse, or a backpack full of school books, I still have a smaller case that I use when I'm going someplace for a few hours and want to take my DS but don't need many games, and even when I travel, I take the smaller case with me to use during the trip. Furthermore, the interior of the case that holds the DS is far too big for my DS lite (and I believe for the slightly larger DS and DSi as well), such that even with the movable dividers, it's impossible to secure the DS in any way that it won't slight around significantly in the case. I've found that my smaller DS case fits easily inside this one, and not only can I leave the DS in that case to put it in this one, there's enough even room for the DS and power cord next to the smaller case. Overall, as much as I like this case aesthetically, the only practical use I've found for it is to store DS games, instruction booklets, and whatever random stuff happens to land in it in my electronics drawer, and even there it's constantly in the way. I think though that it could work really well for something closer to its size (maybe a portable DVD player or netbook), and since the game organizer portion is removable, that could be used separately from the rest of the case.
