Fantastic Adquisition
Hello all!
Just to let you know, this item is a great adquisition for my Nintendo DS Lite. Is an excellent carrying case. You can carry it with the strap, you can attach it to your belt or your backpack. It fully protects the Nintendo DS Lite from scratches and dust. However, if you have a Nintendo DS you should not buy this one since it wont fit. It is made only for Nintendo DS Lite.

The case that is for the DS Lite!
Without a doubt the best carrying case for the Nintendo DS Lite at the moment. There are pros and cons for this case but it is still a must for all Nintendo DS Lite owners to buy. Let's begin with the look.
The case is comfortable and very protective of your DS Lite. It straps easily inside and has a plastic that holds your system inside so you would never have to take it out again. This is especially recommended for those who own the Onyx DS Lite like myself. The plastic inside that holds your system has holes so that the buttons are easy to access. At first the buttons will feel hard to reach because your system is still trying to get used to the plastic, but once you use it often you will never wish to take your system out ever again.
The GBA slot is easy to take out and place back inside. The GBA cartriges obviously stick out but even if you have the GBA sticking out while closing the case it will still close properly. There is a pocket with a zipper behind the case that holds the GBA filler when you have a GBA game inside the DS Lite, but it is also to place other GBA or DS games to carry around without problems. You can also place your headphones and your charger inside as well.
NOTE: If you have too much stuff in the pocket it is harder to place other accessories inside so I would recommend to carry games you definitely will play. Also at first you will not get used with the power switch on the side because it is a small space, but little by little it will become natural.
Now the cons is only one thing I really noticed immediately when I placed the DS Lite inside. That my friends is the stylus. Becuase the hole and space for the stylus on the side is small and there is no way to take it out without taking out your system, it does become a problem. Lucky for those who own the Lite a second stylus came in the package. So I would recommend to carry it in the back pocket or in the strap in between the case inside where the strap was neatly folded in.
Otherwise great case for the DS Lite if there are no other cases you can find that can do a better job. Highly recommended for all DS Lite users. The only reason it is not a 5 is because of the stylus problem. Otherwise highly a must. Get one now! You should find these cases commonly in Circuit City where I highly recommend buying them from.
Not for those who own the Nintendo DS Phat. It will not fit here since it is too big and this case was designed for the Lite. Sorry guys.
Great for on the go gaming!
If you like to travel alot, but hate having to lug around your DS carrying case everywhere you go, this may be the (near) perfect accessory for gaming on the go with your Nintendo DS Lite!
It's compact design makes it ideal for anything from road trips to international travel. Made of durable nylon material, with a plastic sleeve inside for your DS lite, a soft mesh pocket for game cards & small accessories, and a metal clip on the outside that's great for keeping it attached to the belt loop on your jeans, a strap on your backpack, or even the outside of your suitcase.
Pros:
One of the most inovative aspects of this game case is the plastic sleeve that holds your DS lite. It holds it securely in place and has holes cut out of it so that you can access all of the buttons and play your DS lite without having to remove it from the sleeve.
Cons:
However, this case is not without it's faults... The plasctic sleeve fits the DS lite so snuggly that for the first few times you use the case (until it stretches out a little) the on switch on the side of your DS lite will be triggered, and you'll have to toggle the switch again to turn the DS lite off again. Also, the hole in the side of the sleeve for the stylus pen is way too small, making it impossible to draw the stylus from the DS lite while it is within the sleeve! (Best to keep a spare stylus in the mesh pocket, so you wont have to remove the DS lite from the case)
Overall:
This is a near perfectly designed travel case for the Nintendo DS Lite, and it's small defects aren't enough of a reason to stop you from buying it. It's still a great case for traveling and gaming on the go with your Nintendo DS Lite!
WARNING:
This game case was designed to fit the "Nintendo DS Lite" the original DS will not fit into this case!
