The DSi's Two Digital Cameras
The most noticeable feature of the slim Nintendo DSi system are its two cameras - one camera is situated on the external body pointing away from the user, and the second one points at the user when the device is flipped open. As the first truly interactive digital camera in a video game system, the DSi Cameras feature 10 different interactive "lenses" that can manipulate your photos, offering an easy way to take and share your photos with family and friends. The cameras also present people with unprecedented ways to interact with their games, and in the process provide developers with a new tool to devise creative games and experiences. If the touch screen gave Nintendo DS a sense of feel and the microphone allowed it to hear, the two cameras give Nintendo DSi the sense of sight.

DSi Sound
Another enhanced feature is the Nintendo DSi Sound application, which serves as both an interactive voice recorder and music player that allows users to play with their music while they listen to it. Users can access different audio filters or control the pitch and speed of recorded voice or music files to alter voices or change the tempo of a song. The mic is located between the two screens when the device is flipped open, and there is also a stereo headphone output that lets users listen to music saved on an SD card, even with the screen shut.
The DSiWare
In the world of software, Nintendo DSi will be the platform for the most relevant and fun on-the-go games and applications. The Nintendo DSiWare application will populate Nintendo DSi with software that can be downloaded using Nintendo DSi Points directly to the portable system, just as WiiWare has with Nintendo's Wii console. Developers big and small are invited to create software that makes use of the properties and functions of the hardware. Nintendo DSiWare games and applications will be available at a range of values, starting at 200 points.
Games and Backwards Compatibility
In addition to downloadable games, Nintendo DSi is able to play games made specifically for the system and sold at retail. The system can also play most Nintendo DS games, and will have access to a library of more than 850 titles originally made for that system. As an example of the quality of games that DSi players can expect to see both from both Nintendo and third-party game developers, at the launch of the DSi Nintendo also released Rhythm Heaven. A wildly popular rhythm game in Japan, where it has sold nearly 2 million copies since its release in mid 2008, Rhythm Heaven features catchy tunes, charming characters, and a wide variety of rhythm games as it makes maximum use of the DSi's functionality.
Facebook
Nintendo DSi owners have even more ways to share their experiences with friends and family. Using an Internet-connected Nintendo DSi system and the Nintendo DSi Camera application, Facebook members can take pictures with either of the system's two cameras and upload their photos directly to their Facebook profile. While reviewing pictures they've stored in the Nintendo DSi Camera album, which includes photos taken by users and manipulated using the built-in interactive lenses, users can simply tap the Facebook icon on the system's touch screen to instantly transmit photos to the user's Facebook profile. The user's system must be configured to a wireless broadband Internet connection for the transmission of photos.

Mario's DSi Expansion
There has no question about the success that Nintendo has accomplished about the dynamic and strong gameplay shown from the Nintendo DSi. Since it came out back in the Spring earlier this year. It has showcased the way we now play video games on the road with even more joy, and exciting challenges. Not only with the joy of playing all of your favorite DS games of the past like Meteos and New Super Mario Brothers, but all the exciting features of the DSi Ware, you can now download great original games especially made for Nintendo's great little bundle that are sure to delight the handheld gamer in all of you. But, there are those whom cannot wait to go online, and download all the great DSi Ware games online. Well, here is a new opportunity for anyone who doesn't have a Wi-Fi connection to play those DSi Ware games, with this new extended DSi.
This new DSi Bundle is gracefully showcased for those that can't wait to log on the net, and download great titles, because they are right here. The game includes 3 pre-installed DSi Ware titles that are exclusive to the Nintendo DSi, that have launched the DSi to a new era, as well as a few expansions that add on to the Mario fun. The 3 DSi Ware titles, are fun and entertaining fun of all kinds, including Dr. Mario Express, a new rendition of the original and classic NES game, that drove with puzzle addicts all over nearly 20 years ago, with a renewed and exciting gameplay that is sure to knock your socks off, WarioWare: Snapped!, a fun and entertaining picture game, where you have to mold you face in certain shpes and sizes with motion sense, through over 30 mini-game actions while riding a wicked Warioware roller coaster. Also there is Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2, a specialty made game for the DSi, that brings back on one of the more surprising DS titles, where you have the bundle of mini-Mario droins trying to cross a series of puzzling levels (similar to the classic addictive game Lemmings.) The other 2 titles are applications that you can usually buy from the DSi Shop from the Nintendo DSi, the Mario Clock & calculator, which in ways take you back a trip down memory lane with a look that feels classic from the original Super Mario Brothers games.
All in all, you get a lot of great excitement for the Mario fanatic, here in this specialty made DSi Bundle Pack in a strong and dark metallic blue. While I do though wish there could've been a few other great DSi Ware games pre-installed here instead like Art Style: Base 10 and Aquia, it still fares as a great treat all over for anyone whom has yet to own a Nintendo DSi, and wants one to have for all of their gaming on the go. If you've never purchased a Nintendo DSi before, this is truly one bundle pack, you'll want to have.

I just "upgraded" from the DS Lite. I was hesitant on the DSi because it did not seem worth it and I did not like the colors that were out.
When I saw this bundle I jumped on it. I like the color and the Mario games were ok not what I expected tho. And if I did buy them I would have not been happy, but they were free so no complaints.
The color and texture was not what I expected it was better. I had the Onyx DS Lite and the Crimson/onyx one and preferred the crimson one because the bottom part was like a matte texture and felt more comfortable while playing games. One thing I liked about the DSi was they were all matte texture but I was afraid Metallic Blue would have a metallic texture but it doesnt its matte like the others. It is kinda shiny look to the color tho.
I like the bigger screen but have to get used to the button placement.
Camera I have not played with too much yet but it seems fun and you can mess around with the pictures and you can upload your pics to facebook or whatever so thats cool.
the amazing thing tho about Amazon was I was shopping the Black Friday sales after midnight and ordered this 12:50am on the 27th (yesterday) it was immediately processed and then shipped out around 5am and I got it in the mail this morning.

Wow I am so happy I ordered this when I did on Black Friday (staying awake to wait for gamestop to open actually) I got this for a sale price(under 160) and received it the next day.

FYI--- you can order this bundle from Barnes and Noble online for the orginal price of $169.99. I ordered mine today (12/4) and they were in stock ready to ship. Total price was $189 after tax and shipping.
