The Game Chamber..You've gotta get it!
I bought this product before I decided to pull the last remaining hairs out of my head. My three children leave their games lying around. Then they step on them! I have found them under couches, under chairs, beds, in car seats and even in the bathroom! I was ready to take the games away. I tried other game storage systems, but they just didn't work. The games were still all over the house! The game chamber not only keeps the games secure, but I now have responsible children. Since they can only get one game out at a time, they make sure to put the one that they were using back so they can get to the next one! It is portable and is an amazing addition to our family vacation. The kids are happy and we are as well. I will certainly be looking for more products from DAZE Products . What a great idea!
Must've been invented by a parent!
Those little game cards are so easy to lose...it's maddening because they're also expensive. This is the perfect solution. Takes a little practice for a kid to work it, but this thing is foolproof. It teaches children what we've been nagging all along: "Put one game away before you get a new one out, and then you won't lose them!" Love it love it love it. Now, if we can just keep up with the game chamber itself....
DS GAME HOLDER.....
THIS IS SUCH A NEAT PRODUCT..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR ALL KIDS..MY GRANDKIDS ARE KEEPING THEIR GAMES AND NOT LOSING THEM ANYMORE..GREAT ITEM..EVERYONE WITH KIDS AND A DS SHOULD HAVE THIS...BARB
Disappointed.
I had gotten a gamesafe with intec's gamer kit (case, car charger, etc.), and was quite pleased with it. Had I had to rate this product then I'dve given it a 10.
The problem is the model aparently changed between that model and the stuff they're shipping now. They barely hold 1 game let alone the 2 advertised - the games keep popping out without reason.
Rated this a 1 star, and it'll be the last time I pick up an intec product. Working on some extracurricular modifications so they're actually usable, but it's looking more and more like I should just throw these away, drag out the sewing kit, and make my own. I can't do any worse than this that's for sure.
No game, just accessories
I read several reviews before purchasing these game cases. One thing I found to be true is, yes, the games pop out of the clips in the cases, but I'm happy with the cases because its much better than lugging around the CD case they come in or having them just bounce around in my carrying case.
If I could find something that worked a bit better though, I would try it.
Good, but don't follow the picture.
This is a good product for what it does. I gave it to my brother for a birthday present and he thinks it is great. Now he won't lose any of his games. Don't make the mistake that I did, however, and go by the picture. The picture makes it look like this is one large case. It is in fact 4 small cases that hold 2 cartridges each. That threw me for a loop when I first got the package in the mail. Other than that, it is a great investment for keeping your DS cartridges clean and protected.
Protect Your DS
Excellent case for storing your adapter, games and DS, yet compact enough to carry without taking up much space.

Perfect starter set for newbies or anyone
Okay, I'm not a gamer. I don't have kids. I've never owned a Nintendo or any other game system aside from the Atari 5600 (which tells you how old *I* am!) although I played other game systems here and there. However, deep down I kind of wanted a DS because it looked like a fun way to pass time at the airport, while commuting, on lunch breaks, etc., but the other versions didn't appeal to me. They looked too kiddy-like and plastic (aka cheap). I also didn't know there were any "adult" games out there. And then.... Nintendo came out with this package. A new color scheme, packaged with Brain Age 2, a stylish case and the system suddenly appeals to ALL those people who may have felt foolish buying the other ones. I admit it, I was sold. Love at first sight. A GENIUS move on Nintendo's part. (To even further prove their point, I also purchased two games along with this set so I'd have plenty to do- Sega Casino and Mario Kart.) I have to say, I'm loving this thing. It's loads of fun, easy to use, very portable, no complicated learning curve, no difficult setup or anything. Just pop in a game and go. Brain Age 2 is great (I want to get the first one now); I discovered there's a lot I don't know! Sega Casino is entertaining and Mario Kart is just plain fun :) I plan on trying out many more games and enjoying this for a long time... at least until they come out with another Limited Edition version that I have to have, LOL
Definitely a good way to get into the DS if you've been on the fence about it, as I was. Or even if you just want one, it's a great package. It would also make a great gift for just about anyone, young or old. Heck, I'm thinking of getting my parents one for Christmas!
Get it while you can!
First and foremost, if you are considering buying this DS bundle... DO IT! This bundle is very limited. The older DS, better known as the "DS Phat" was once sold in a Mario Kart bundle, and every since it sold out, none have been produced. This bundle is the same case: once it's gone, eBay will be the only place you can find them -- for 3 times the price.
Anyways, the bundle as it is, is very good, both in terms of value and appeal. The Crimson/Black color scheme is very original. The only Crimson part of the DS is the top shell that you see in the picture: the rest is the a matte black. The DS you get functions like any other DS lite, so there's no need to worry about compatibility.
The case that comes with the DS is very nice. The DS lite, unlike the PSP, is a system that will withstand a LOT of abuse. For instance, I have dropped my Onyx DS from a height of 5ft+ MULTIPLE times, and the screen and body still is intact (AND it still works). Anyways, the case's outside is black, with red stitching. The inside is red, and has the DS logo (the two squares representing the screens) printed repeatedly in a diagonal pattern. To keep the DS in the case, there are three elastic bands, that are very well placed. One annoyance that I have is that there's a pretty big Nintendo tag hanging from the side of the case (like you would find on a t-shirt), but with a small pair of scissors, you can easily remove it. The top panel of the case has a slot for 3 game carts; these holders are black. I think the case gives a little more protection in case one should drop it, but it's more scratch protection and appeal.
Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day! is a great game. If you have played the first, you will greatly enjoy the second. Not only are there more mini games for you to play, but some of the features from the previous game have been implemented: the drawing competitions and Sudoku puzzles. I'm pretty sure that you are able to save up to an years worth of records, so after the save file reaches a year, you won't be able to do more than view the calender and your progress. The game list is as follows:
* Missing Symbols
* Masterpiece Recital
* Word Scramble
* Correct Change
* Word Blend
* Memory Addition
* Days and Dates
* Finishing Position
* Determine the Time
* Calculate the Height
* Rock, Paper, Scissors
* Continuous Countdown
* Speedy Symbols
* Memory Addition
* Memorize 5x5
* Highest Number
In terms of value, this bundle is perfect. Here's a summary of what you get:
* Limited Edition DS Lite ($129.99+ retail; expect prices to skyrocket when the bundle is discontinued)
* Brain Age 2 ($19.99)
* DS Lite Case (~$9.99)
TOTAL = $159.97
$159.97 x 7.75% tax = $172.38
$172.38 + $10.00 shipping elsewhere = $182.38
You currently save $32.39; if you wait, the money you save will only rise, since the limited edition DS becomes more valuable.
You get this all for $149.99: no tax; no shipping. Whether you get this for the fun, or to scalp the system for more money on eBay or somewhere else, this is worth buying.
Thanks for reading my review.
Great Color DS & Family Friendly Game Included! It's a HIT!
This is our household's FOURTH DS lite...now every single member owns their own! Nintendo outdoes themselves time and time again. The Metallic Rose color is so much better than the pink they've had out for a while now and Nintendogs is a game both of my boys (9 and 4) enjoy playing. This bundle worked out really well for our family!
Cheap :(
I bought this for my daughter because the reviews I read here were better than those of other all-in-one kits.
I'm so disappointed that I did :(.
The charger is beyond cheap and chintzy - it's hard to get the mini-usb plug lined up with the DS's slot, and if you have the strap (a part of this kit) on the DS, it doesn't fit in the charger. I love the light, but it's on all the time and it's BRIGHT.
The 3 lens wipers would be great had they not been taped into the package. The tape left residue on the backside of the wipers, which my daughter accidently swiped across the lens protectors, which then had to be thrown away.
The game cases hold two games, but there's nothing to hold them into the case, so they just float around.
The car charger is a joke. Seriously.
Don't waste your money on this!!
An okay assortment for the money
This set is pretty good. The dock is lighted and very bright. The light for it stays on even if your DS is undocked, It has to use the adapter that came with the DS too, it doesn't include one for a wall outlet. There are no instructions included, leaving you to look at the back insert to see which screen protectors were for which screen. It had everything I was planning to buy accessory wise: carry case, screen protectors, Wrist strap, dock and lots more.
Quantity Not Quality
While you definitely get a lot of stuff for what you pay for, keep in mind that the stuff you're getting is not of the highest quality.
I wouldn't say that anything that you get is great, which is strange because you can usually find at least one gem. The only plus I can give this set is that at least everything is truly portable, unlike other sets that end up feeling like your carrying a suitcase.
The case for the DS Lite feels strong, except for the zipper which feels like it will break pretty soon. The lens cleaner doesn't do a great job of cleaning. The screens are pretty useless (either do not stay or really do limit the clarity of the DS Lite), the docking station feels pretty cheap, and the car charger feels like something I could buy at a 99 cent store.
The worst product of the set has to be the headphones. These are immediate disposables. The sound quality is terrible.
Overall, I'm satisfied (it will keep my DS Lite protected and the accessories are usable), but I'm pretty sure I'll eventually end up spending a little more on something a little higher quality (when I find something else that I like.)
